To develop a new concept to host the conference outside a conventional conference building that the audience could resonate with. The futuristic ship built by our talented animators brought together the future eco-friendliness of cruising mixed with African culture. The 1800 century marketplace on the pier symbolized trading back in the day. A three day event filled with inspirational speakers for business entrepreneurs and students.

Lobby – To navigate attendees around the virtual event.

The Auditorium – hosted all of the speaker presentations that were live or semi live during the three days.

Marketplace – Sponsors and vendors could promote their products and services.

Vendor booths – Each company had the opportunity to upload videos and documents that attendees could watch or download into their virtual briefcase.

Networking Lounge – Attendees engaged with speakers and their peers in chat rooms dedicated to each workshop session.   Attendees were able to conduct text, audio and video chat.

Gamification – A fun part of the event where attendees were able to gain points for engaging during the event. Prizes were given out.

Information Centre – Gave attendees event details and guides during the virtual event.

Here are some of the highlights of the event:

• The first virtual event and overall feedback was amazing! Businesses and individuals that would not normally be able to afford to attend a global conference and access these types of speakers were able to come together and learn from each other.
• Having an event on a cruise ship made it a memorable experience for everyone. We still have people talking about it months afterwards and asking when the next one will be.
• Our vendors and sponsors were extremely happy and received an excellent ROI because of how easy it was for attendees to engage and do business with vendors.
